Awards Luncheon & Board of MN AELSLAGID Keynote, 1.0 PDH

Join MnSPE and colleagues, and celebrate your work, your colleagues, and Engineers’ Week at the MnSPE Awards Luncheon February 21, 11 AM – 1 PM.

The MN Society of Professional Engineers is pleased to announce the return of our project awards program! Help us recognize projects that contribute to the advancement and betterment of public health, safety, and welfare. All are welcome – please join us as we reboot annual project awards!

The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Plymouth (3131 Campus Drive).

Registration is $60 per person and includes lunch, awards program, and keynote presentation from the MN Board of AELSLAGID (1.0 PDH).

Keynote: PE Licensure in MN:  Enforcement activities and rule/statute changes

Join us for a keynote presentation and update with the MN Board of AELSLAGID. Board Chair Melisa Rodriguez will review an overview of the board, how it operates, recent enforcement actions, and discuss upcoming renewals. She’ll also review what to do if you are late or lapsed.

This presentation will provide value for new and seasoned PEs, and will also include an overview of proposed statute changes that are relevant to PEs.

About the presenter: Melisa Rodriguez is the chair of the MN Board of AELSLAGID and has served with the board for over four years. She is a fire protection engineer with 20 year of experience in design of suppression and alarm systems, consulting and specifying, and manufacturing product support. Currently she works at Johnson Controls as the Fire Suppression SME for the Americas.
