Congratulations to Lisa Breuer, PE, who has been named the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers (MnSPE) Engineer of the Year!
MnSPE Past President David Fautsch, PE, presented Lisa with this award at the 2025 MnSPE Anuual Meeting. In his remarks, he recognized Lisa’s exemplary contributions to the engineering field, her long-standing dedication to MnSPE, and her remarkable career spanning nearly four decades.
Lisa, a devoted MnSPE member and past president, has consistently demonstrated leadership and commitment both at the state and national levels. She has played key roles in various committees, leaving a lasting impact on both MnSPE and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).
An accomplished engineering project manager, Lisa’s expertise shines through her wealth of experience in diverse projects, including flood control, wastewater treatment plants, solar initiatives, mine permitting, and pipeline construction management. Her skillset encompasses stakeholder coordination, engineering design, site investigations, project management, and much more.
With over 39 years in the field, her dedication and contributions are notable. Lisa was named MSPE Young Engineer of the Year in 1998. She went on to receive the Minnesota Federation of Engineering, Technological and Scientific Societies (MFESTS) Young Engineer of the Year award.
Lisa’s readiness to serve another term on the MnSPE board in 2024 is yet another testament to her commitment to advancing the field of engineering and mentoring future professionals.
