In the series “meet a member,” we will be highlighting members of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers. This week, meet David Fautsch, Senior Project Manager at IDOM, and Vice President and Minnesota representative to the NSPE House of Delegates.
As the Senior Project Manager, David manages IDOM’s Oil and Gas sectors in the United States and Canada. His role includes business development and project management activities related to both traditional downstream oil refining and future fuels including biodiesel, HVO and hydrogen.
David joined MnSPE to grow his network within the engineering community in Minnesota as well as advocate and grow the engineering profession.
When asked what does having a Professional License means to him, he answered:
“Having a PE validates the knowledge and skillsets that I have developed over the initial phase of my career and brings comfort to my clients that I have the best interest for them and the health, safety and wellness of the public in mind while working on their projects.”
