Who We Are

MnSPE is the leading voice of licensed professional engineers in Minnesota.

Founded in 1939, and later an affiliate state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers, MnSPE provides relevant, accessible professional development, and Professional Engineer licensure advocacy for all engineering disciplines and industries in Minnesota, as well as outreach and leadership supporting Minnesota’s future STEM workforce.
Our members include Professional Engineers, experienced career engineers, early career engineers, and students. Their work covers a diverse range of engineering disciplines and industries. MnSPE is a statewide professional association that also includes nine geographic chapters.
MnSPE is led by a volunteer board of directors elected by the membership, volunteer chapter leaders, as well as several committees.
