Brittany Jaramillo, PE, HBDP, has been named the MnSPE 2023 Young Engineer of the Year. Brittany is a project manager at Michaud, Cooley, Erickson and has experience in HVAC, plumbing and building automation design and construction.
Her main focus is in aviation and she leads an eight-member team of Michaud Cooley Erickson staff who work closely with the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Brittany and her team work on projects at all MAC sites.
Among her accomplishments — establishing a system that allows for remote monitoring of 1.1 million MAC data points. She is a 2013 graduate of St. Thomas and began her work at Michaud Cooley Erickson as an intern in 2012. She serves on the MnSPE Professional Education Committee. Kerry Cooley Bruggemann, PE, LEED-AP, Principal at Michaud Cooley Erickson presented the award to Brittany at the April 25 MnSPE meeting.
Kerry was the Young Engineer of the Year in 2014.
